Die WIPO hatte einen Fall zu entscheiden (WIPO Case No. D2004-0821, Sharman License Holdings, Limited v. Web Domain Names), in dem es um 277 Domainnamen ging, die sich allesamt an den Softwarenamen „Kazaa“ anlehnten. Die Entscheidung liest sich entsprechend:

For all the foregoing reasons, in accordance with Paragraphs 4(i) of the Policy and 15 of the Rules, the Panel orders that the domain names numbered 1 to 23; 26 to 33; 37 to 47; 54 to 59; 64 to 67; 70 to 72; 77 to 189; 200 to 241; 248; 251; 253 to 255; 257; 260 to 269 and 271 to 272 be transferred to the Complainant.

Von der Übertragung ausgenommen wurden 49 Domainnamen, bei denen der Panelist keine Verwechslungsgefahr sah (u.a. FASAA.COM, KASOA.COM, KAVA.COM, GAZZAA.COM, KAWAZA.COM, KAAZE.COM, KAAZI.COM).
